Have you heard this story?

Three weeks ago the boys didn't have school. so I planned a fun outing for us to do with a sitter. Sadly the sitter got the flu so it was just me and the boys. I was taking  them to jump on a big giant trampoline. This was going to be so much fun for them and me.
 We talked about it and watched videos about the place. They boys couldn't wait for us to go and have a fun outing. I was looking forward to them burning off some extra energy. 
We get there and get our special socks with grips on them so you don't slide. I wrangle the boys and we put our shoes and coats in the cub's.
P and N are both faster then me so they run out and start jumping.  All is going well and I head out to jump. I fell the first on my first step woops.
This trampoline is very springy no big deal I get up. we are jumping the boys are having a great time. I am having a blast as well. Then all the sudden when I land there is a loud pop and my knee moved. I screamed and fell down the pop sounds gave me a small scare. I try to stand and can't then the tears come.  The worker came over to help me walk off the court. I tried standing and taking a step. My knee moved again in a way it shouldn't have.
More tears and pain well now I'm stuck on the the trampoline court.
 The first worker radios a manager to come out. I chat with them while still trying to keep track of the boys.  At this point it is clear I will not be moving on my own. So they call a ambulance for me.
By this time people are starting to stare at us. In fact I made a new friend about the age of 2 who kept coming up to me. He kept asking me what was wrong why are you crying?
 The first responders aka fire men showed up. They look at my knee and chat with me and strap me to a board. By this time the EMT'S are here and ready to take me to the ER. I am able to get a hold of Brian on the phone. At this point I'm not able to speak with out crying because of pain. So the fire fighter caught to chat with him. We agree on the hospital they are taking me to.
 because I use wit and sarcasm as coping methods. I'm cracking jokes and being a brat on the ride to the ER.
Giving the EMT's crap and just being very sarcastic. I get checked in and am waiting to be seen by a DR. This whole time the ER staff keep telling me they see lots of people from this place. Wow gee thanks for making me feel so much better. I get x rays not a easy thing when you can't stand on both of your feet.  The x ray tech is going on and on about the jumping place.  Brian and the boys get there just as I get back to my room. The dr comes in looks at my films and gives me some pain pills and sends me on my way with a brace.
 A few days later I got a MRI and then got to wait to see the Ortho turns out I tore my ACL. In 17 days I will be having surgery on my knee. These last few weeks have been full of laughs and tears.

I think its time to dust off the old blog. Lets see if I can do better keeping it up this time.

Kindergarten

My oldest is starting kinder this September. I have started looking into different schools in our area. The public school up the street is great. I have a meeting with the special ed teacher in April. N has some sensory issues. I am shocked how fast my baby has grown. Eek my youngest P will start preschool this September . We have been working on potty training its starting to click with him. I can't wait to be diaper free.

Way over due.

My poor blog is rather dusty. Things are going alright I no longer work outside the house. My feelings on being a stay at home mom are bleak. Some people love seeing their kids 24/7 and have the mental health for it.

I'm looking into kindergarten for my oldest. That is so crazy when have the last almost 5 years gone? P is going to attend preschool this coming fall. He is still a crazy little kid who bounces off the walls. We have been working on potty training this last month. I think we will be diaperless in a few months. How crazy is that my boys are growing up.

growing up

Last Sunday Brian's youngest sister got engaged. Which to be honest I did not see coming so soon. Granted they have known each other since high school. Have only been dating for three months and are gong to have a July wedding. yes July as in 2 months from now crazyness I tell you madness.
I think if Bethy was more of a planner I wouldn't be worried. Lets hope things go smooth with very little stress for the family.


I think that about covers it. As I made a comment on Summers blog the other day. The cat is licking me ugh Ruby or Miss Piss is a odd cat. I love her but dude get off me .

For some reason I have taken to saying Dude. Must leave the house more without children or I will lose my ever loving mind.

sunshine

I love that its getting nice outside. The boys and I spent about 2 hours outside today soaking up some vit D.

jaded

My little sister is attending The Bethel School of Supernatural Ministries. I don't know what my feelings on this is are. When did I become so jaded was it from growing up in the church. Seeing how Pastors and others acted one way while at church. Then turning around and acting a complete different way.
I miss going to church worshiping feeling like we are part of something.

Paul on the zoo train

Last weekend we took the boy's to the zoo. The weather was sunny and warmish. This is Paul on the train looking at the boys behind us. I think he enjoyed the kids more then Animals.
Nolan had a good time seeing everything and riding the train. I love being zoo members we can go for a little bit. With out having to worry or feel like getting our money worth.

The year is going well

So far the year is off to a good start. Brian and I are planing on a trip to Cali for a make up show. This will not happen until late June still I can't wait. The boys are healthy and doing good. Brian was given a bonus bigger then we have seen in a while. This Oct he will have ten years under his belt at Intel.

Not a baby.

Paul has been learning to crawl this week. This means my bug is no longer a baby. On the same note Nolan is working on potty learning. I am very happy and proud of my boys while at the same time a little sad. I can't help but think that my last baby is growing up much too fast.

Christmas pictures

Today my mom and I took the boys for pictures. Well that was fun or something like that. N spent the time giggling or fake crying. P did really good he only got fussy at the clothing change. We got a few cute pictures they are not perfect by any means. N would jump around and waves his hands during the photos. P has some drool running down his chin and some cradle cap. Stupid stuff is holding on for dear life ugh.
