get away

We are thinking of taking a long weekend to Great Wolf Lodge. This would take place in March for last family trip pre baby. For those of you that have been any tips or tricks you care to share.

If you like scavenger hunts I recommend the Magi Quest. It's an extra 25 dollars. Don't do it for Nolan though, cause he's a bit too young for it. Maddie had fun with the wand and the chests, but got bored with it easily. Ryan had a blast though and took every chance to get out and find something new.

Nolan will have a lot of fun in the kiddie pool if he likes water, and the wave pool is fun with little kids. But an extra pair of hands is nice with the kiddoes, so grandparents are nice to have.

I recommend the tornado at night.

You won't have to pay for Nolan at the buffet, but the food at the grill restaurant is better and the pizza place is cheapest of all.

Nothing is open early in the morning, so if you have an early riser, get yourself a donut at the bear cafe or starbucks before going to bed or bring a breakfast treat.

Hit the bedtime story hour if you can make it without a grumpy boy. The clock tower is a lot of fun. And the wold den kid place is a nice little place to sit and read a book or let him color, they are REALLY friendly their and you only pay for certain crafts.
