Christmas pictures

Today my mom and I took the boys for pictures. Well that was fun or something like that. N spent the time giggling or fake crying. P did really good he only got fussy at the clothing change. We got a few cute pictures they are not perfect by any means. N would jump around and waves his hands during the photos. P has some drool running down his chin and some cradle cap. Stupid stuff is holding on for dear life ugh.

there is a charity event for a mama who lost her baby. http://hyenacart.com/fresh/
we have been given the gift of breast milk from a mama who lost her little girl. For that I'm truly touch by her gift and love.

so be sure to snuggle your babies today. Maybe give a friend or family member a call who has lost a little one.

laid it all out

The other day I let things flow. I told B about my unhappiness how it is creeping back. How spending money and eating a cookie are a quick fix. I asked him to change my paypal pass word. So I couldn't get that quick fix by buying my boys cute fluff or wool.
My depression has shown its ugly head again but different this time. I have told two people that its time to change. They will hold me accountable and make sure I fallow threw . I know things will be better there is no shame in seeing someone or taking meds. I wish more people would be open with this issue .

once again

My life is up in the air. I'm not happy being a stay at home mom. Things are just not great or what I want. I need to figure out where am going if that means work or school. I need to get out of the house and talk to adults. My children are suffering because of my unhappiness. So far I haven't found any mom that understand me. They all love being stay at home mom's with spotless clean houses.

Woops

I never made a official birth post. June 14th Paul Emmett was born @ 9:18 AM. His stats were 9 lbs 50z 20.5 inches 14" head he came by c-section. Sunday we was 3 weeks old things are going well. We had a rough start in the hospital after losing around 14% of his birth weight. We had a great nurse who got us frozen breast milk that was in NICU. We also got a Milk donor for at home while we waited for my milk to come in. Paul is a very laid back baby who sleeps 3-4 hour chunks at night.

Being an adult

On Monday night my friend took her mom off life support. This got me talking with my friend Sarah. How would I handle this if it was my mom? To have to make choices and be the adult. I have a sister who would help make these choices but still.
My Heart goes out to the Pant's family her mom passed away this afternoon. Now comes the chore of getting everything taken care of. Please keep the Pant's family in your hearts and prayers as they grieve.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Our whole family has been sick off and on for the last 3 weeks. Looks like everyone is on the mend thank goodness. Life has been a little stressful getting things ready for baby. Who is by the way still nameless oh well that will come right?

The USPS lost a package of mine last week. So I have been trying to get that taken care of. My carrier was on vacation for 3 weeks while he was gone. The guy covering his route messed up big time I guess. I had a nice little chat with out carrier today. Really nice guy he looked in all of the postal box's on the route. So I made a few sign's and put them by the mail box. I'm hoping who ever got my package will bring it back. Who wants cloth diaper if they don't use them? Ughhhh I guess they could sell them on Craigs list or ebay. I don't even want to think about that.

Brian's folks gave us a thousand dollars for the new baby. So we ordered our co-sleeper along with a few other things. We found this really cool bench for the front hall way. That will hold shoes and extra sweaters we keep by the door. With the rest I am thinking of having someone come deep clean my bathrooms. I just can't get the shower and tub super clean. My tummy keeps getting in the way of really scrubing it super well.

I am more then ready for baby boy to come. Really I can not wait to be done with this part of life. I just don't make a nice or good pregnant woman.
We have a c-section date on the books for after his due date. At the time I'm not giving out the date. I still really want to do a V-back just need my body to go into labor. Part of the problem is if I give out the date it feels like I'm giving up. I don't want that right now. Family has started asking us if we set a date yet and when it is.

I think that about covers it for the last few weeks. Oh on Sunday Nolan turns 2 that just blows my mind.

my tummy

I have been thinking a lot about looks. Why because I'm 8 months pregnant and feel so not pretty. Brian took some pictures of my tummy without my shirt. Then it hit me this is me and love. No my body might not be what the world thinks is beautiful. Really it is beautiful and full of love. So here is a few pictures of my naked tummy.

baby boy

Baby boy is still nameless at the moment. We haven't made any head way on that front.
I have a C-section on the books in case I don't go into labor. At first I didn't know how I felt about it. Really I'm ok if that is how things end again. This will be our last baby I will not be carrying any more.
This has been by far much harder then last time. When you throw up so hard and often you get nose bleeds. That makes you not want to do this again. Baby was breech last time they checked since then I think he has moved. I felt him turn or flip goodness what that painful.
Things are coming along nicely I'm just tired and super sore. I went back on my anti depression meds. I was losing it and just wanted to run away from life. I should find someone to talk too. That will come in time mostly my fear will hold be back on that one. I rather dislike finding someone to talk to. For some reason I am a huge chicken and think they will laugh at me.

Ugh sorry been busy.

OK so the winner of my little drawing is Kristi. So sorry it has taken me a extra week to post.
Life has been a little crazy around here. Back in Sept we put new flooring in our office/junk room. Little by little we are getting it done. The next step is to get a rug and new wall units. I want to turn it into a office/playroom so tired of toys down stairs.
I found this blog called Ikea hacks and someone made a kitchen. http://ikeahacker.blogspot.com/2009/02/whats-cooking.html I would love to do something like that.
Our resale shop had a Haba cook top for 13 dollars. That I Plan on using in making Nolan's play kitchen.
I have more to say and will be better updating this week.

carseat

Think this is the seat for baby boy. seat
Yes its pretty but hey you can't beat $180 on a new marathon. I also don't think Brian will let me get anything else "girlie" for the boy's. I ask if I could get a fun floral diaper and he about died.

Skincare line.

After hard work and annoying set backs. I have found the line that meets all my needs for work. Called Servello I have been using it for a week plus. My skin feels great and glows or at least that is what people say. I have been going round and round with the owner of the "shop". She has her heart set on a line. So I tried it out and my face freaked out. There was burning stinging that made me look like a lobster for hours. I told her this and she said well not all products work for everyone. This might be true but I will not be using that line on my clients.
Brian and I have talked and we will be paying out of our own pocket. For the line I want to carry. That is fine with us and at the moment means I will be only getting a few things not the full line.

I have a salt scrub sample in Reggio Di Calabria. That I want to gift to some one. So lets do a little drawing leave a comment by the 12th. I will have Brian pull a name out of the hat that night. Then I will email and Post who the winner is of the wonderful scrub.

Reggio Di Calabria is a Bergamont and Citrus so clean and fresh.

What was lost is now found

The Orlando Police just called they found our Mac book.
It was sitting in a pawn shop waiting for a new home. Looks like the guy wiped it clean or tried too. Brian thinks he will be able to get some of it back. I guess they guy brought in a different computer to sell and they check it. found out it was hot then did a check on the past computers he had brought in. That is how they found Brian's so now he is filling out paper work. So it can come back and live with us. The officer didn't say if the guy works for the air lines or air port. Today just got so much better what a answer to prayer.

Day dreaming

The last week has had me day dreaming about a vacation. Sadly this is not going to happen in a while. I tried talking Brian into heading down to Disney Land in Oct. The look I got was a huge no go. I even reasoned we could use my folks time share and get in free on our birthday's. Plus it would be nice to visit my Grandparents I don't get to see them often.
I don't think we will be taking the boy's on a flight any time soon. Unless I can drug my husband which is kind of hard. Our flight to Orlando in Sept made Brian super cranky. He is in no hurry to fly with young kids again.
The other week there was talk from MIL to visit the SIL's next Christmas. I don't think we will do that which is sad I would love to visit South America. I would like Nolan to know his aunts. Oh well maybe I can keep working on a plan.

baby

Today was our big Ultrasound and we are having a 2nd boy.

Then I got home and got the mail. My samples came of the product line I want to carry. So tonight I will pamper myself while Brian is in class.

shopping

I have been slowly picking up a few things for baby. Last week I got a few of these
A blog I read had them on sale. Then while at target I picked up some T shirts that snap down the front. I think the icing on the cake would have to be today my mom took us shopping. We went to the Woodburn outlets to hit up some of the winter sales. She got Nolan some pants and shirts for next year. Then she made me pick out some girl baby clothes. We don't find out what we are having until next Tuesday.
So I picked out one or two items she on the other hand picked up $100 worth of stuff.
I have no feeling about this baby one way or another. with Nolan I knew he was a boy and had a dream. Not that I think dreams are always true or anything. This baby no real feelings or dreams. So I guess we will finding out if those cute clothes are going back or not in a few day's.

We are thinking of taking a long weekend to Great Wolf Lodge. This would take place in March for last family trip pre baby. For those of you that have been any tips or tricks you care to share.

WWYD

I have a question and need some help with something.
Alright the lady across the street has a 12month old little girl. When ever we see them she say's she has clothes and baby items for me if we have a girl.
Well I am all for hand me downs but, They smoke. Now clothes can be washed a few times. She has other items like a car seat and stroller. We are not big on hand me down car seats even if never used.
How do I say thank you but no thank you? I don't want to hurt her feelings but smoke is nasty and around my baby I think not.

Also some good double strollers 2 1)I want a light weight one for around town. 2) a jogger for when we go off road or to the nature park.

thank you

goals

Alright this is a little late but oh well. My goals for this year are as fallows.

1) go to play group or date twice a month. We are part of a Hillsboro mom's meet up they do about 20 things a month.

2) Read a none fluff book for every two I read.
So if anyone has some ideas for me please let me know.
.
3)Can,freeze or dry so I can set more food away this spring summer. I'm looking into doing a CSA with a farm this year. With a new baby we will not make it to farmers market as often.

I know its an odd number but really that's all I have.
