thinking

If I said What do you think about EC? Your answer would be are you crazy? So I am thinking about it. Nolan has pooed in the potty twice in the last week so far.

Edit
EC stands for Elimination Communication, also known as Natural Infant Hygiene or Infant Potty Training. It's a wonderful way to respond to a baby's natural instincts to stay clean and dry. EC reduces diaper use, reduces diaper rash, can lead to earlier potty independence, and so much more.

I don't think EC is all that crazy. I'm hoping to do it at least part time for baby #2, since Andy's 95% toilet-trained at this point (last hurdle: night time).

When I think about "EC" I think "emergency contraception" because that's what it stands for in my circle of studies. LOL I have no idea what EC stands for otherwise.

Sorry I didn't answer earlier, I'm trying VERY hard to be VERY productive after this week.

you might find it hard to believe, but my mom did it with all of us from about 8 mos on...she just took advantage of our regularity and she even had a little potty chair in the corner of the kitchen! after breakfast, we went straight from the highchair to the potty chair and were handed a book. LOL!

my wic partner, karinda does it with riok with quite a bit of success. as long as the baby isn't protesting or being traumatized in any way, i see nothing wrong with it.
